love handles & stretch marks?

so i’ve been going to the gym for a while now. i’m not what you’d call ‘fat’ but i have some extra baggage, like love handles. FIRST – i was wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of the layer of fat around my waist. i’ve tried dieting and i’ve been working my abs for months now but it doesn’t seem to be getting me anywhere. ALSO – i’ve noticed that i’ve been getting stretch marks. i’m only a teenager and i read online that stretch marks can be a result from increased muscle mass, which makes sense cause i’ve been doing weight training and stuff in addition to cardio. i want to keep burning the fat but how can i prevent these stretch marks?

Well, if you want to keep getting muscle, then you’re going to have the stretch marks. :/ I have the same problem, but really, I love my body and the way it is.
If you’re just looking to get skinnier, excersizing so you get muscles won’t work. If you get abs, the abs will stick out from your belly. If you just want a slimmer body, then I suggest just doing simple excersizes like lifting your legs while laying on your back.
As for dieting, it only works to a degree. Instead of eating three big meals a day, and whatever low-carb thing you might eat… do this instead: Eat whenever you get hungry. Like snacking all day, but not quite. Eat healthy and yummy things like apples, grapes, etc. But keep your protien, like meats and such. If you eat whenever you get hungry, your body has no reason to store fat. In a month or so you’ll start noticing a difference. Well, it’s what I did. :O

stretch marks are such a pain. i started getting them when i was a teen too (im 21 now) and that was because i was always chunky. im a lot more fit now, and they are going away because im losing weight. but if yours are appearing BECAUSE you’re losing weight, the only thing to do would be to put cream on it. i used resveratrol to get rid of mine too. it works really well. i would recomment buying it on ebay because you cant get it in stores, and ordering it from the website locks you into a scam.
as far as the stomach weight goes, just keep doing cardio. thats the ONLY way to lose fat. trying running or walking daily, it will tone up your sides and lower back flab as well as the "bra fat" area. lol. it works!
