You can't erase them, but you can improve them. Buy lotions that are specifically designed for tightening the collagen in your skin. That'll be St. Ives Collagen Elastin Moisturizer. That'll close up some of the bigger stretch marks, making them look thinner. If you want to bare it, dust some foundation make up on them. There are OTHER lotions that refract light, making the marks look shallower. That'll be The Body Squad Luminous Anti-Stretch Mark Cream from Mark (a sub-magazine under Avon). I'm sure there are others, but these are the two I'm using.
It's also a great idea to build up your muscles. They tighten up the skin from the increasing mass of muscles filling up the spaces. They will shallow out your stretch marks, BUT it's possible that it'll stretch them out… making them look wider. Make sure you keep the stretch marks out of the sun or else you'll look like a zebra. Same reason why scars don't tan in sync with the rest of the body. Trust me, they'll fade and close up with time.
Other than that… I had my daughter over nine years ago, and the stretch marks from her took nine years to finally look like razor-thin silver/pearlescent lines. It's also good to eat certain foods that boost your skin health.
The other poster up there said cocoa butter. Forget it. They're for women getting pregnant, and it's good for loosening up the skin and making it even more elastic so you DON'T get stretch marks. You're already past the point where the cocoa butter can help.
